Bighorn River Guiding is an art in it's own right as this can be a very technical river to fish. Our Bighorn River Guides are full time guides that guide this river exclusively, day in, day out. This gives them an intimate knowledge of all the intricacies that this massive tailwater consists of.

We do not hire hobby guides or weekend-only guides as our entire staff consists of full time Bighorn River Guides. All of our guides operate their own Mackenzie-Style Drift Boats and all are very competent oarsmen. 

There is a steep learning curve for this fishery as it's tactics are somewhat unique to this river, but not difficult. One day with a guide on the Bighorn River goes a long way as you will learn about some unique bugs and unique fly fishing tactics.
